During the operation of high pressure Raymond mill, gear transmission failure is one of the common faults. Once the gear transmission of Raymond grinding fails, it will seriously affect the smooth operation of grinding operation and delay the efficient work of the whole grinding production line. What are the reasons for the failure of high speed Raymond grinding gear transmission?

1. Because of the particularity of the working environment of high-pressure Raymond mill, the working environment of gear transmission is poor when the grinding operation is carried out, and the gear pollution is serious when it is seriously affected by dust particles. Otherwise, the failure of high-pressure Raymond grinding gear transmission will be caused by the untimely addition of lubricating oil and the serious pollution of lubricating oil.

2. After a period of operation of gear transmission device, the axes of pinion and Raymond grinding grading drum may become non-parallel, resulting in gear meshing into local contact. If the force of the gear on the whole tooth width is not uniform, it is easy to cause the bending and torsional deformation of the gear shaft. In addition, if the structure of gear transmission material is not uniform, there are slag inclusion, pore and hard particles, the local shear stress of the surface or sub-surface is too large, resulting in the phenomenon of broken teeth.

3. Stress concentration exists on the gear grinded by high pressure Raymond mill. When the top of the gear teeth enters the meshing state, the original cracks are formed in the surface layer under the action of excessive equivalent contact shear stress. In the process of gear operation, the high pressure oil wave generated by contact pressure enters the crack at a very high speed, which produces a strong fluid impact on the crack wall. At the same time, the surface of the gear pair can seal the crack opening, further increase the oil pressure in the crack, and force the crack to extend in the direction of depth and tooth surface. The material falls off from the tooth surface and forms pitting corrosion.

4. In transmission, the load-bearing time of single tooth of gear pair should be prolonged greatly, which is an important reason for gear wear too fast. The reduction of coincidence degree will inevitably lead to the increase of backlash of gears, so that some impurities and floating matter and dust in the air can easily enter between the meshing surfaces of gears and cause abrasive wear.
