When the rotational speed of the cylinder is very low, the steel ball coal can not be taken up, rolling only in the lower part, and the output of the energy-saving ball mill is very small; but if the rotational speed of the energy-saving ball mill is very high, the centrifugal force acting on the steel ball and the coal block is greater than its gravity, the steel ball and the coal block will rotate together with the cylinder, that is to say, the coal grinding effect will be lost. The minimum speed of the above mentioned condition is called critical speed. The ideal speed of the energy-saving ball mill should make the steel ball in the cylinder have the maximum lifting height. At this time, the steel ball has a great impact and the coal grinding effect is better. The actual working speed of the energy-saving ball mill is limited by the speed ratio of the transmission device and its conditions. It is impossible to wait for the ideal speed, but they are close to each other.
